'TIS the season to rank the year's best movies. While lists are supposed to cover the entire year, they usually end up containing just major movies released after Thanksgiving.
Cine File, as usual, strives to be different.
Here are his favorite films (big or small) of 2004, in alphabetical order, going all the way back to January.

* "Good Morning, Night": Italian auteur Marco Bellocchio's stunning, fictionalized account of the kidnapping and murder of Prime Minister Aldo Moro by Red Brigade terrorists in 1978. Screened at BAM in March, it deserves a release here in 2005.
