Il nuovo cinema italiano a dicembre a Caracas
Presso la Cinamateca Nacional di Caracas, Venezuela, si aprirà il prossimo 2 dicembre la prima rassegna cinematografica sul Nuovo Cinema Italiano. La rassegna comprenderà alcune fra le opere del nostro cinema piò premiate in ambito europeo come ad esempio "Respiro" di Emanuele Crialese che sarà presente alla rassegna, "Il mestiere delle armi" di Ermanno Olmi e "L'ora di religione" di Marco Bellocchio. Aprirà la rassegna "Il mio viaggio in Italia" di Martin Scorsese.

He’s an Indian film aficionado with a difference. Luca Marziali, the director of the River to River Indian film festival in Florence, discusses the magic of the movies. (...)
Marziali, who first came to India in 1984, has been here at least 15 times since. He was recently in the country to scout for Indian feature and documentary films for his festival, as well as to coordinate "New Italian Eyes", a package of Italian films that will travel to India for the international film festivals of India (Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Thiruvananthapuram). Besides, he coordinated a package of Indian films at the recent Namaste India programme held during the Fashion Week in Milan. (...)
The New Italian Eyes package coming to the Indian festivals include Marco Bellocchio’s "L’ora di religione" (My Mother’s Smile), Gabriele Muccino’s Come te nessuno mai (But forever in my mind), Ettore Scola’s Concorrenza Sleale (Unfair competition), and two films by the maestro Pietro Germi – A Bad Swindle and Ladies and Gentlemen.
